Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the film 'Birdman. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents who is able to play comedic as well as dramatic parts. His professional career has seen him has played a number of romantic roles and also appeared in action thrillers. As a teenager the actor developed an appreciation in performing and acting. He began to try comedy stand-up as a teenager. While his stand-up comedy venture did not succeed however, it served as the basis for his future acting career. Because he could not to succeed as the actor of his dreams, he chose to become a television cameraman. The job at the station was the first time he realized that he truly wanted to appear in front of cameras. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got a television part. So it was not a surprise the actor quickly gained a following as a well-known TV actor. He had great goals, and started a film career and became famous due to his comedic roles. The Tim Burton film Batman, he played the role of Batman's superhero name. As an actor, he grew as time went on and delved into direction and production realms. In 2014, his performance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous accolades and nods.
